PureWick Refill Cost Check: Compare the Box Price and Your Checkout Total

Planning your next PureWick refill purchase? Put the exact product and box count beside the current price, then separate the product subtotal from equipment, shipping, taxes and discount conditions. The goal is to identify what you will pay for this order and what it includes.
Medoy is an independent brand. The Medoy prices below are not prices for PureWick-branded refills.
Start with an identifiable order
Record the seller, exact product, count per box, number of boxes, currency and date checked. Give each offer its own entry. Keep the female and male product selections separate and use the one required for your purchase.
| Product | One box | Product price in USD |
|---|---|---|
| Female External Catheter - 30 Count | 30 catheters | $149 |
| Medoy Male External Catheter - 30 Count | 30 catheters | $189 |
Confirm the current listing before ordering. The box price is the starting point; your selected quantity and checkout adjustments determine the amount due.
Separate the purchase into five cost lines
1. Refill product subtotal
Multiply the number of boxes by the current price for the exact product. Use the original box price rather than a rounded per-item price. Our refill cost guide explains per-item calculations and whole-box spending.
2. Equipment purchased separately
The Medoy 30-count listings include catheters and Instructions for Use. The pump, collection canister and tubing are not included. Record any additional equipment costs, including purchases from another seller. If equipment is already owned, record that fact and verify its requirements for the refill product you are considering.
3. Shipping
Check the charge for your delivery address and selected service. Read any minimum-spend or location conditions attached to free shipping. Keep estimated arrival dates separate from guaranteed delivery commitments.
4. Taxes and other checkout charges
Use the amounts shown for the actual order and destination. If a charge has not yet been calculated, mark it as unknown rather than zero. Compare completed checkout breakdowns before deciding that one offer costs less.
5. Discounts and their conditions
Record the discount actually applied to the cart. Check coupon eligibility, first-order restrictions, minimum quantities and recurring-purchase conditions. If the subtotal already reflects the discount, do not subtract it again.
For a recurring offer, note the amount due now, the later price and order frequency if stated, and cancellation terms. An introductory price alone does not describe future refill spending.

A two-box example
At $149 per box, two Medoy female 30-count boxes have a $298 product subtotal and contain 60 catheters. For the separate male product at $189 per box, two boxes have a $378 product subtotal and also contain 60 catheters.
These examples use the October 15, 2026 prices without a discount. They describe two boxes of an existing 30-count product, not a separate 60-count pack or a fixed period of supply.
To finish the calculation, account for applicable shipping, taxes and other charges, then apply any discount once. Add necessary equipment purchases made elsewhere. Until those amounts are known, $298 or $378 remains a product subtotal rather than a confirmed full purchase cost.
Existing usable inventory can reduce the number of new boxes you need. For that calculation, see the 30-count box and inventory guide.
A comparison sheet you can copy
Complete one entry for each offer. Leave a field unresolved if the seller has not supplied the information.
- Seller and date: who is selling the product and when you checked
- Exact product: complete name and relevant model or selection
- Quantity: catheters per box, boxes ordered and total catheter count
- Refill subtotal: currency and amount for that quantity
- Equipment: already owned, excluded from the pack, or purchased separately
- Shipping: destination, service, charge and conditions
- Taxes and other charges: amounts for the actual order
- Discount: amount applied and eligibility; check whether already included
- Commitment: one-time or recurring, with later-price and cancellation terms
- Total purchase cost: checkout amount plus necessary purchases elsewhere
- Requirements and returns: documentation checked and return terms reviewed
For a PureWick-branded refill offer, use the current listing for the exact product and seller. Compare the same quantity basis and purchase conditions, with known charges recorded for both offers.
Before you place the order
Recheck the product and quantity after applying a promotion. Review the return terms, including how opening a package affects eligibility. Save the order breakdown so your next comparison starts with the actual purchase price.
Check equipment requirements separately from the budget. Our PureWick alternatives purchasing guide covers price, count, exact model and requirements. Refer to the applicable Instructions for Use and your collection-system documentation.
Review the current Medoy female 30-count product or current Medoy male 30-count product, then check the amount due for your selection.
Frequently asked questions
How does the box price differ from the checkout total?
The box price covers one pack. The checkout total reflects the selected quantity, applied discounts and applicable order charges. Necessary equipment bought elsewhere adds to your full purchase outlay.
How much do two Medoy 30-count boxes cost?
At the October 15, 2026 prices, two female boxes have a $298 product subtotal; two male boxes have a $378 product subtotal. Each example contains 60 catheters. These USD amounts exclude separate equipment and checkout adjustments.
Can I multiply one box price by 12 to estimate annual cost?
Only if 12 boxes is your established purchasing quantity for that period. A 30-count pack does not imply one box per month. Use your actual purchasing quantity and the prices and charges that apply.
Can I use a subscription price in a comparison?
Yes. Record the recurring commitment, distinguish the first-order price from later prices, and compare order frequency and cancellation conditions.
Does the lower total identify the right refill for my system?
No. Verify the product-specific equipment requirements separately. This worksheet does not establish compatibility, clinical equivalence or suitability for someone's care.
